The SSI Specialty Instructor Course at Wanderlust Dive Center Bonaire is the perfect way to grow your career as a professional dive educator.
This program is open to both newly certified SSI Instructors and experienced professionals who want to expand their teaching range and gain confidence teaching new programs.

Each specialty program is delivered as a 1-day seminar, combining:

• Academic teaching techniques

• Standards review and skill demonstration

• Evaluation and performance feedback

• Real-world teaching scenarios in open water

Training is conducted by our in-house SSI Instructor Trainer in either English or Dutch, with a strong focus on real teaching quality, personal development, and confidence in the classroom and underwater.

You’ll learn not only what to teach, but how to teach it the Wanderlust way — exceeding SSI standards in presentation, professionalism, and student experience.

After completing your Specialty Instructor program, you’ll be authorized to teach your chosen SSI Specialty Courses independently — from Deep Diving to  Navigation, or Nitrox.
