Last updated: December 16, 2025.

This policy applies to all gas fills provided by Wanderlust Dive Center B.V., including air, Nitrox and oxygen-enriched gas mixtures. By presenting a tank for filling, the customer agrees to this policy, the Terms & Conditions and the Liability Waiver.

  1. Types of Gas Fills Provided

Wanderlust Dive Center offers:

  • Air fills
  • Nitrox fills (standard and custom blends)
  • Oxygen-rich fills for CCR divers and certified Oxygen Providers

Availability may vary depending on supply, safety requirements and operational conditions.

  1. Certification Requirements

2.1 Air Fills

Even for standard air fills, all customers must:

  • Present a valid scuba certification
  • Hold certification from a recognized training agency

This is mandatory for safety and liability reasons.

2.2 Nitrox Fills

Nitrox fills require:

  • A valid Nitrox / Enriched Air Diver certification
  • Accepted from all recognized agencies (SSI, PADI, RAID, NAUI, SDI etc.)
  • Verification through digital portals when available (such as MySSI)

2.3 Oxygen (Pure O₂ or >40 percent O₂)

Wanderlust Dive Center accepts the following for oxygen-rich fills:

  • CCR Diver certification
  • Oxygen Provider certification

Both certifications are accepted.
No certification means no oxygen fill.

  1. Analysis Responsibility

3.1 Mandatory analysis by the customer

For all gas mixtures, including standard EAN32/36, the customer must:

  • Personally analyze the tank
  • Use a properly functioning, calibrated analyzer
  • Record the O₂ percentage and pressure
  • Sign the fill log with initials, name, date and time

3.2 Analyzer use

  • Customers may use the shop analyzer
  • Customers may also use their own analyzer
  • Analysis remains entirely the customer’s responsibility
  1. Documentation and Logbook

Every gas fill must be recorded in a digital or paper logbook. The customer must enter:

  • O₂ percentage
  • Pressure (bar/psi)
  • Date and time
  • Full name and initials
  • Signature

Wanderlust Dive Center retains these fill logs for a minimum of 5 years.

  1. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  1. Correctly analyzing the gas mixture
  2. Accurately recording all data in the logbook
  3. Using the mix only within their training and certification limits
  4. Respecting MOD, PPO₂ limits and safe dive planning
  5. Checking the tank pressure upon pickup (including air fills)
  6. Aborting the dive if the gas appears incorrect or unsafe

Once the logbook is signed, the customer assumes full responsibility for the gas mixture used.

Incorrect analysis, incorrect notation or unsafe use is entirely the responsibility of the diver.

  1. Wanderlust Dive Center Responsibilities

We ensure:

  • Proper and safe filling procedures

    C. Tank without valid hydrostatic or visual inspection
    D. Unknown or undocumented gas contents
    E. Unsafe or irresponsible customer behavior
    F. Request for a gas mixture outside safe operational limits
    G. CCR tanks not properly marked
    H. Tanks that cannot be verified as belonging to the user

Wanderlust Dive Center reserves the right to refuse a fill at any time for safety reasons.

  1. Fill Station Access
  1. Customers may be present during filling under staff supervision only.
  2. Customers are never allowed to fill tanks themselves.
  3. The filling area is a restricted zone; access may be limited for safety.
  1. Labeling Requirements

Every filled tank must be labeled with an analysis sticker including:

  • O₂ percentage
  • MOD
  • Pressure
  • Date
  • Customer initials

No tank will be released without a completed label.

  1. Liability

The customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Incorrect gas use carries inherent risk
  • They are responsible for proper analysis and recording
  • They must dive within limits appropriate to the gas mixture
  • They must verify MOD and PPO₂ limits
  • Wanderlust Dive Center is not responsible for misuse or misanalysis

The Liability Waiver applies fully to all gas fills.
